Beginning in 2008, the Lake George Gem & Mineral Club has put together amazing Club Project involving interested members with various backgrounds and talents to research a specific area of study.

This research is compiled over several months including several site field trips. The end result is preparation of documented geological papers, a PowerPoint presentation & display exhibits.

The project is then presented at the Denver Gem & Mineral Show, at the New Mexico Mineral Symposium, at the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society (CSMS), and at our own Lake George Gem & Mineral Club.
